Access Credentials and Security Zones
Alpha Limousine vehicles carry hotel stickers and driver badges that allow access to secured properties such as AlpenGold and the Belvedere Steigenberger. Our chauffeurs reach Promenade 101 (Migros/the Loft building), which sits directly across from Hilton Garden Inn and the Kongress Hotel. From there, guests walk a short distance to their entrance. This access brings you closer than most services without AA or AB clearance. In most cases, hotel staff assist guests with porter service from that point.
These standard badges do not allow entry into the restricted access zone, often called the “red zone.” This includes Hertistrasse, the closed section of Promenade near the Congress Centre, and the main entrances to the Congress Centre and Kongress Hotel. Access to this area requires either an AA or AB sticker.
Only guests can request AA or AB stickers directly through the Forum. Our team cannot apply for these on your behalf. AA stickers, typically granted to government officials, offer the highest level of access, including Davos Heliport.
Vehicles with AA or AB accreditation are also the only ones allowed to enter the Congress Centre tunnel and use the waiting zone near the Kirchner Museum. For all other services, our drivers bring guests to the closest legal drop-off points just outside the restricted zone.
Waiting Zone Rules and Guest Coordination
Drivers must remain inside the vehicle with the engine turned off while waiting in designated zones. Leaving the car unattended or running the engine may result in penalties.
Hotel access stickers permit pick-ups and drop-offs only. Chauffeurs cannot park in front of the hotel, enter the lobby, or assist guests inside. Each pickup must be precisely timed. If the guest is not ready when the vehicle arrives, the driver must exit the area and return later - often with a delay due to traffic and checkpoints.
Access limitations are set by event organizers. While Alpha Limousine vehicles reach the closest approved zones, some locations remain restricted without AA or AB passes. Vehicles without proper accreditation must drop guests at more distant points.

Yes. Alpha Limousine holds a special permit that grants direct access to Zurich Airport’s curbside lanes. For departures, your driver drops you off right at the terminal entrance. On arrival, your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal, with the vehicle positioned just outside the exit for immediate pickup.
